Intermountain Medical Imaging

Message: IMI identified me as a "current smoker" on the last report and I have not smoked in years. After repeated requests to change the information they have refused and requests to have the office manager call me have been ignored. My recommendation is use a different imaging company and facility.. Update: While IMI did not remove the comment that I was a "current smoker", they did annotate the report with a closing comment that I have not smoked in 6-7 years.

Message: I have had many MRIs in the past. The first MRI was easy but as I have gone along, I developed serious claustrophobia and anxiety. Today I needed to do another MRI. Thanks to my nurse, Rachel, she was able to get me through it. Rachel was very careful about my medication list and any interaction that I might have. She explained everything she was doing. They hooked me up from music headphones and warm blankets. Mentally, I was only able to accomplish this because of Rachel. My usual reaction to doing MRIs is to bolt. I can’t stand the sound it makes or being in the tube, but this time was manageable. If you need MRI services, I would consider Intermountain Medical Imaging everything is easy and professional. From checking in to medical sedation, to walking out to a waiting friend or family member. Today was a good day and I am very thankful to them for helping me get through it. Thank you Rachel and thank you staff at Intermountain Medical Imaging.

Message: I am extremely claustrophobic and the machines here were honestly so nice and so much less intimidating here than the others I’ve seen. I got to listen to the Beatles and Zeppelin while I was in there and despite my fears, I ended up having a relaxing time! The facility was so clean and well managed. Taryn was the tech that administered my MRI and she was THE BEST! She made me laugh and feel so much more comfortable. It couldn’t have gone better!

Message: Great clinic. I was able to do a walk-in for x-rays and the staff was very professional and welcoming. The lobby and waiting areas were spacious, with beautiful plants and comfortable seating. Highly recommend.

Message: I just want to say that every aspect of going here was stellar. The supervisor of scheduling was amazing and nice. The techs had great attitudes and took great care of me. I had both an x-ray at the eagle location and an MRI at the Boise location, and finally picked up my images in Meridian. Every contact I had with them was way better than I had expected. It was SO easy to get copies of my X-rays and then in the end have my MRI transferred to my new specialist. I mean no pushback, easy as a phone call, they are on it. I appreciate working with a medical facility that has GREAT service and CARES at every level. Absolutely no exaggeration on their service. Totally impressed.
